Mandocellos

Distinctive Design and Sound

All Dammann Instruments feature local woods. From the fresh cut log to the completed product, we work every instrument in our shop in Charlottesville, Virginia. Each feature is chosen to maximize playability and sound on the instrument as a whole. From distinctive headstock to quarter sawn tone wood backs and sides, we create spectacular handcrafted instruments.

The designs behind Dammann Instruments are as innovative as they are functional. Our guitars, basses and mandocellos are a perfect compromise of playability, fullness of sound, and striking visual aesthetics.

We think of our instruments as functional art and we make them as beautiful to look at as they are to play.

Our list prices include a hardcase, a pick-up so your instrument is ready to be amplified, and shipping in the US.
